Ohh Paris, how I love you. The energy you give me, the surprises you have for me every time I visit you, and just the way how you make my heart beat just a little bit faster. I think Paris and I are a never ending love story.
Last week I went to my favorite city on the whole planet with my brother. It was the first time Rob and I were in Paris just together, and we had so much fun! Even though it was a very short stay – just 2 days only – it was worth the trip every minute. It was my tenth time visiting the city, so I know my way around. I usually go with my mom, so it felt so special to share our favorite places with my brother this time. Eating the best French Fries at L’Avenue and drinking the best wine while enjoying real French food at La Petit Lutucia (here you go, the best tips on where to eat).
I usually spend most of my time in Saint Germain. It is by far my favorite area in the city for shopping and food. It is a less crowded place and it has the cutest boutiques. I love the Parisian style, so you can imagine I went crazy the last weeks of sale there. Spend most of my money on food and French oversized suits (to be shared soon!).
Another reason for me why I love Paris, is that I can fully dress up and be myself. In The Netherlands, people are often quite scared to go all the way, even in Amsterdam, which is considered a fashion city. Compared to Paris, there is so much we can learn. So that is why I went all the way chic in this ah-ma-zing leather Bally trousers, which I bought last fall. Like seriously, can we give it a moment please. It cost me a rib from my body (is that something you say in English too?), but it was worth every penny as I feel like a superstar in it. No need to do much more. Just a black turtleneck and my Chanel bag was enough to dance around stylish the beautiful streets of the most beautiful city in the world <3.
