I think we all know this feeling that we need to do something. We need to get out. We need to work. We need to spend time with our friends etcetera etcetera. This constant pressure of doing something can make us feel so incredibly tired. Especially now when spring is around the corner and all we want to do is to enjoy the summery feeling. Having terrace afternoons and late nights, which sound great at first, but also comes with a lack of sleep which makes us restless and gives us bags under the eyes which we all hate so much. So besides a having a wintersleep which makes us ready for a sleepless summer, there are a few other things to boots your energy with. Here are my top 3 tips!
EAT HEALTHY AND WORK OUT
Having long afternoons on a terrace often involves a lot of wine and for the ones who smoke cigarettes as well (boohh to you). A lot of wine in the afternoon also often means fastfood in the evening, because with a dizzy head we don’t feel like cooking. And as much fun as this all sound, it is also super bad for your well being and your energy level – not to start about how you feel the next morning. So I am not saying you shouldn’t have these moments, because they are great. What I do want to give you as advice is to try to eat as healthy as you can during the days you aren’t on a terrace. And work out! Good food and exercising gives your mind and your body energy to run around all day. Besides that, we won’t get fat of all this rosé if we keep up with the good lifestyle 😉
WEAR SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
When I am restless, tired or just have a bad day, I try to dress up the best way I can. Make myself pretty with a some make-up (even experiment here and there in my small room when I have a free day), wear the most colourful and printed clothes I have and pick the shiniest pair of shoes from my collection. Success for an energy boots is guaranteed, especially when the weather sucks and all you want to wear is black – which makes your mood even more sad haha.
INVEST IN PEOPLE THAT GIVE YOU ENERGY
At last, being surrounded by people who have a good vibe, will also give you to a good vibe, which results in more energy. It’s so important to invest in good relationships with people who are close or important to you. So no matter if it is in your boy-/girlfriend, family, parents or any other friends, having people around you is a way to feel happier about yourself and in life. Tadaaa, the solution to boost your energy!
