Let’s break the January habits and go for more is more, shall we? I think there is always an good excuse to wear glitters and especially when it’s just a touch of, such as in your manicure. Today I want to share the ultimate manicure for January with you. To be honest, you can do it anytime you want because not only during the Holidays we need to have an excuse to wear glitters right?!
For this mani I only used polishes from HEMA, which is probably my favorite Dutch store there is. I always had this gigantic love for notebooks and pens, so when I was still a little Floortje you could always find me in our local HEMA store, buying new notebooks and pencils. When I got older I loved to go there for affordable fun jewellery and their make-up, which has been growing a lot ever since. Now I go there for things in my home, such as candles and kitchen goodies, but still for their make-up since I have some absolute favorites there.
Their nail polish is one of them because they’re super pigmented, dry fast and are long lasting. Best thing has to come, you can start your manicure from €2,50, how awesome is that! For this look I still wanted to be a little Christmas lady with dark red and gold, just because I don’t want to say goodbye to the Holidays yet. I started with their ridge filler base coat– which have to be my favorite from now on – and applied two layers of the tulip red and syrup waffle delight nail polish. Love some uneven nails! At last a touch of glitters on only the beginning of my nails (don’t worry if they don’t look perfect. That’s what it makes it fun!) and of course a top coat for a long holding mani. Now, do you think this is too much after the Holiday season or can we still rock glitters? 🙂
I love the packaging on these! Plus your nails came out sooo good. I suck at doing my own nails so I always give in and go to the salon haha. I have never heard or seen this brand before though. Great find!
Hema has just arrived in France, their stationery is amazing indeed, never tried their beauty range, though. I completely forgot to wear glitters during the festive season so glitter nails are very appealing to me at the moment! Really like this look as well!
I rarely do anything to my nails unless to trim them, but on the rare occasions that I want to give them a little ooomph, I love how red nail polishes makes me feel so empowered! It’s like donning on a red lipstick and feeling so confident.
Anyway, the glitter was a nice holiday touch! Great nail polish to start the year.
This is such a beautiful manicure, girlie! I love the gilded look of the faded gold glitter! Thanks for the inspiration and I hope you’re having the most amazing week so far!
