It is October, which means it is breast cancer awareness month. An annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October, to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected this disease. Every 15 seconds, somewhere in the world a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. That is way too many. I want to do anything in my power to help fight it. That is why I want to share this special post here on the blog with you today.
One of the charities you probably all have heard of, is Pink Ribbon. A charity that does a lot, especially in Breast Cancer Awareness month. To make supporting Pink Ribbon accessible, they partner up with well known brands for a special limited edition product so raise money. This is something they do every year and I think it is a great opportunity to show your support to this cause, and of course to treat yourself with a gift. This year, I partnered up with Hunkemöller and Estée Lauder to support their campaign and I hope to inspire you with it.
Starting off with this beautiful Hunkemöller bra, briefs and bracelet that I am wearing in the photos. With every sale, they donate 10% to Pink Ribbon to support what they are doing. Next to that, it is a beautiful and comfortable set to feel sexy in. A feeling every woman should have! Something else I am wearing to stay in the pink vibes, is this super fluffy bathrobe from Le Olive. It is customizable with your name, so a beautiful and personal gift for yourself, or to someone who can use it.
But also Estée Lauder is going big this year. They have this cute bag with three of their lipsticks to raise money and awareness. For every public, in-feed Instagram post during the month of October featuring both #TimeToEndBreastCancer, #ELCdonates and @esteelaudercompanies, they will donate $25 to Breast Cancer Research Foundation up to $100,000!
As a woman, I feel responsible for this matter and for that only time a year, I want to support. Are you with me supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
