I am baaaack!! Sorry for not posting this whole weekend! I thought I would have enough time for blogging between our busy business schedule, but we definitely had not. Both Friday and Saturday were filled with activities that we barely had time to dress up for the night of the gala. Anyway, besides that we were so busy we had such an amazing time. I really can’t describe it in any other words! All those people we have met from everywhere in this big world. Some moments I just had to pinch myself that this all was happening. The strange fact was, as we barely knew each other (and even the grandchildren as it was the second time for us to see these people) we all felt connected in some way. Like one big family, a Moccamaster family!
As I am going to tell you all the stories later on the blog, and believe me because I really do have a lot of exciting things to tell you, I have a DIY for now as I think it’s perfect to end up this weekend with. This is the fourth project from my collaboration with Wander&Hunt while using their Rhinestone kit. It is a while now since I posted the last project but I promise to finish up the other DIY’s very soon! With this project I wanted to make a statement with the kit, something that brights up every outfit. When finding inspiration I actually came to the idea to make a necklace really quickly. I mean, you can never go wrong with some diamonds and stones hanging around your neck right?
To make this necklace is very simple and it is also a lot of fun to do! You only need the Rhinestone kit, super glue and plastic to glue the stones on. The plastic I used is from a table carpet to protect it from getting damaged. Fun what you can do with recycling right? First you draw the form in paper to make sure it’s good and wearable. I did this wrong the first time and while I finished the necklace I could do it all over again as too wide for my neck. So make sure you don’t be lazy and do this fist! Afterwards you can draw this form on the plastic and cut it out. Now you have your form so time to glue the stones on it in any direction you want it. Like I said, it’s easy and fun and afterwards you will have a necklace where everybody will ask you where it is from! 🙂
See you tomorrow in a new beauty special lovelies! Enjoy your Sunday!
