The bomber jacket is on trend for quite a while now. From basic black to shiny satin and from quilted to embroidered ones. You have them in endless variations and you can style them in endless ways. Yet, as much as I loved to see the streetstyle chicks wearing them, I had to get used to it first. I love how Gigi and Kendall are always rocking these jackets – they are probably as popular as they’re now because of these girls – but I still couldn’t find my way in rocking a bomber.
I’ve worn an army green bomber before in the beginning of this year, but that was it for a long time until I got this new one. I have been looking for the perfect bomber for so long and I just couldn’t find one who fitted my needs. That was why I was so happy to collaborate with Staying Summer, who had the perfect satin embroidered bomber jacket for me.
What I like so much about this style is that you can up- or under dress it. From a casual all black look like I am wearing today, to something fancy with a white A-line dress for example. It’s a little edgy because of the black body, but thanks to the gold sleeves and embroideries on the front and back it gives it a chic and feminine touch. What do you think about the bomber trend?
