Yoga, you have it in all kind of sorts. I have had many classes in my life and I always found that I was too stiff to do any yoga pose properly. Quite frustrating I can tell, especially if everybody around you can fold theirselves and you cannot even touch your tiptoes. However, it has always been something I would like to do/can. I am always so busy in my head and when I go for a gym-workout, it often gets worse. Yoga helps me to relax and relieve stress, even if I am a little stiff to do every pose.
Lately I discovered the yoga school EQUAL Hot Yoga. As you can guess, they have hot yoga classesthat makes your muscles extra warm, so you can go a little further. Perfect for me! I tried it out the first time a few weeks ago and try to do it once every week since then. For me, it is definitely the most fun way to do yoga since you can go for that little extra – which is perfect if you are as stiff as I am – and sweat like crazy. I can tell that, after a one hour workout, you feel so satisfied and peaceful with yourself, that the only thing you want to do is enjoy the rest of the day without any stress.
The photos you see in this post are from their newest school at the Rozengracht in Amsterdam. Everything is fresh and new, which makes you want to come back even more. They have 5 different lessons with temperatures between the 25 to 36 Celsius degrees. Closing your eyes and it really feels like you are doing Yoga in the Caribbean ;-).
