Hi my loves and happy Sunday! I hope you are all enjoying a great weekend so far! For this Sweet Sunday I have a very easy and super yummy recipe I would like to share, which is all about these good-looking and healthy apple roses. I love sweets and cakes, but often I find them too sweet if that makes sense. When I cake a cake or pie for example, I mostly use half the amount of sugar that the recipe says. And when I have to trust on my family I make very good pie and cake so..
That’s why I am excited to share this recipe which takes like 15 minutes of preparation and 15 minutes of caking time. Perfect if you want to serve something quick that everybody loves -and is Instagram worth ;). All you need for it:
– One big apple (enough for 4 roses)
– 1/2 Lemon and water to heath the apple in
– Cinnamon (as much as you like)
– Puff pastry and flour (so if won’t meld on your counter)
– A knife or mandolin to make small slices of the apple
– Cup Cake Mold
– Butter for the mold
– A microwave or pan to warm the apple and make them flexible (just for about 2 min. max.)
– An oven to bake the roses in for 15 min.
One last tip: don’t roll the roses too tight cause the apple slices might break plus it won’t look like a rose anymore. As finishing touch some icing and then bon appétit! 🙂

I always put half the sugar that the recipe indicates…and I heard that many women do the same thing.
These roses look heavenly. I must give this cake a try!
