Hi loves and happy Monday! Let’s Talk about skincare shall we? And this time, it’s all about face masks! I have been trying to treat my skin more often with a good mask and today I want to share my absolute 4 favorites with you. Doing a face mask was usually something I only did during the weekends, especially on a Sunday. As much as I still love to do that, I am also trying to do it more often during the week. Because why not work behind my laptop with a mask on my face right? Read about each mask and why I love them below the product photos. Hope you enjoy my tips!
Glamglow’s thirsty mud mask probably already says what it’s doing. It gives your skin a deep hydration bootst. I personally really love the muddy texture of Glamglow, but this one is probably the ‘softest’ of the ones I tried. The texture is more of a gel which really gives you this hydrated feeling. You can use this mask up to 3-4 times a week and leave it on for 20 minutes. As much as I prefer the night for taking a mask, I actually like to use this one in the morning as it is just a perfect waking up routine.
Another favorite from Glamglow is their Flash mud mask. This mask really has a muddy texture which I do like to apply with a foundation brush for an extra treat for my skin (I actually do this with almost all my masks). This is a mask you have to use regular for the best result. When you first start you have to use it 3 days in a row and leave it on for again 20 minutes. After these intense days your skin will feel the softest ever – not to forget to mention that I absolutely love the coconut smell of it. Now your skin is prepared for a regular base, so still use the mask up to 3 times a week for the best result. A little scrub before you use it won’t be necessary with this one, as when washing it off you’ll already scrub your face a little bit thanks to the texture.
When my skin needs an energy boost I like to use the Deep Foaming Cleansing Mask from Origins. Besides the incredible delicious smell, I love its super soft texture. The combination of both – and probably also the fact that this brand only has organic products – gives my skin exactly what it needs after some intense working days. It brights up my skin tone and cleans out my pores. I love to use this after I took a hot shower when my pores are already open. This is also a really fast mask compared to the others as 10 minutes maximum is already enough to give your skin what it needs.
Last but definitely not least, this Perfectly Clean mask from Estée Lauder, which I got in a travel size for the upcoming summer holidays. This is a typical mask that will fit every skin type. It hydrates, cleans out your pores and is perfect for daily use. What I really like about this mask is that you can actually use it as a face cream as well. Just wipe off what is too much on your face after leaving it on for 10-15 minutes, and massage it in so your skin can soak in the last bit. I told ya it’s perfect for traveling ;).
All those masks sound great. I don’t remember the last time I treated myself to one. I think a pampering session is in order.
Ahh, I love a good face mask! All of these sound fabulous and as I really loved my Glamglow Youthmud I think I just have to try the other ones as well 😉
That mask sounds amazing! Cool review Floortje!
One of my favourite masks at the moment is the Lush Mask of Magnaminty. I love how cool and refreshing it feels and my skin is always lovely and soft after I have used it. I think it’s time I branched out a little though so I will definitely be trying some of the ones you have mentioned :)x
Seems very nice. And I love the packaging 🙂

I love masks. This weekend I had an honey mask but it was drying of my face! Not such a great one 🙂
Great post and this looks like a great mask to try! I don’t use masks that often though I’ll have to look into trying one soon. I haven’t tried the GlamGlow brand but I’ve heard many great things.
I LOVE the GlamGlow Masks! I have the Brightening Mask but I haven’t tried it out yet. Have you tried any of the Mario Badescu masks? They’re pretty great too!
