Even a person like me, who likes to go all in and over the top, sometimes feels like to get minimal. I am not only talking about a way of dressing in fashion, but also in personal life. From when I was young, I loved to be in the spotlights. When we had birthdays at home I was always trying to create an act to entertain family and friends, like a little dance show or a play with my cousins. I also have been a massive talker as long as I can remember. Teachers used to hate me for this haha. I was this kind of kid who wanted to do three lectures in the front of my class, instead of two. Even now I am still like this, but I also learned how nice it can be to go minimal.
Besides this kid dancing and acting all the time, I could also lock myself up in my room for hours and just play with my Barbies. Or make collages of my mom’s old magazines. Creating was there from the very beginning and I feel so grateful to still have this inspiration and fantasy to create. I think every now and then, we all need to step back, look at what we did and find out what we want in life. Get minimal and down to earth. Spend a morning doing Yoga, relax and leave your phone for what it is, just for a few hours.
I have to admit, I can’t think about a world without the digital industry. With social media who keeps us connected all the time. But often I wonder how it would be without. The only answer that pops in my mind is that I couldn’t be a blogger. Hell no! So, I am tankful for this industry and for this hectic life, but when it comes to relations with people around me, I want to be as natural as I am. Leave my phone in my bedroom when we go out, or in my bag when having dinner (with an exception of taking a food pic of course). I think these photos, shot by Jeroen from Plan78, really reflect what I am saying here. It is the last series of our shooting session, but I already cannot wait to create more content with him! Now my last question for now: how would go minimal? Have a lovely day folks!
I was wearing:
Jeans: Zara, similar here
Shoes: Zara – old, more snake
Nails: BeYu Matt No. 172
You’re such a natural beauty and you seem to be a very confident girl, which shows well in minimalistic outfits like this one. Wonderful photos too!
I love your total black outfit!
And your accessories are so amazing!!!*-*
I love the minimal look. I always go with “less is more”.
You look absolutely beautiful, girlie! I love the natural and laid back feel of the photos and your outfit, which is simple, yet stylish, especially with the addition of those fab snakeskin booties! I agree, I think it’s great to unplug from the world every so often. It allows us to truly live in the moment, fully embracing the people we’re with and the surrounding we’re in because in no time, it’ll all be yesterday! I shut down all social media on Sundays because that’s my day to relax and do absolutely nothing that requires any effort, we all need days like this to truly function at our best and remain inspired without burning out! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!

You’re so beautiful!!
Stunning pictures again, you two definitely know how to take photos haha! And I think it’s super important to sometimes just be, without any distractions. For me this is usually on a bus when going to and coming from work. I just sit there with my headphones on, some relaxing music playing and thinking about life 🙂
