Get out of your chair and move that ass! You have seen it coming. I told you everything about it a few weeks back in a healthy lifestyle post and on my social media, but we’re finally ready to kick off a new chapter on the blog which is all about sports. You guys have been asking me for such a long time if I can post something about my sport routine etc. Today we will start a 3 months journey together with personal trainer Garry Abbas from GAPT. During these 3 months we will give you 8 sport routines for two weeks each. You will train condition and muscles to get bikini proof right before summer!

In the first episode we will make it easy for you. We have a training which is suitable for beginners to experts. You can make it as hard as you want, but at the end we want to improve ourselves so make sure you make the best out of it! Doing sports doesn’t have to mean an expensive subscription to a gym or a personal trainer, but at the end it can really help you getting fit. Like me, I go to the gym four times a week for a one hour session. I would never find the motivation to do this when I stay at home. So for me it really worked going to a gym and getting a schedule from a personal trainer, but of course you can first start easy and try out some exercises in and around the house and maybe go to the gym after.

For these coming two weeks we have this schedule for you which you must try to do at least three times a week. See you again on the 15th with a new schedule and theme. If you have any question or suggestions in the meantime, feel free to ask me or Garry! 🙂

Warming up

– Stretching all the muscles we have!
– 10 minutes of brisk walking/jogging if you can


– 3 x 30-45 sec. squats (15-30 sec. rest in between exercises (the less the better!))
– 5 min. brisk walking/jogging
– 3 x 30-45 sec. lunges left (15-30 sec. rest in between exercises)
– 5 min. brisk walking/jogging
– 3 x 30-45 sec. lunges right (15-30 sec. rest in between exercises)
– 5 min. brisk walking/jogging
– 3 x 30-45 sec. jumping jacks (15-30 sec. rest in between exercises)

Cooling down

– 10 minutes of brisk walking/jogging if you can
– Stretching all the muscles and relax.. Well done!!

    I think exercising is so crucial in anyone’s life. a person is happier when they workout. Sure its hard to get used to a routine but it’s doable, the most important thing is to start off and keep it going… later on it will be a habit!

    Wat een leuk project! Ik zou ook meer naar de fitness moeten gaan, maar zo lastig als je elke ochtend om 8:15 de deur uit gaat en thuiskomt tegen 19:30… Maar leuke blogpost is dit!
