Our skin is the most exposed part of our body. From external elements to the effect of our lifestyle, everything is reflected in the health and appearance of our skin. Now in order to maintain skin quality and that desired healthy glow, it is important to use the right products and choose appropriate treatments. That way you are sure to get the best possible results.

It is not advisable to use the same products on all the areas of your skin so let’s see what are the best ways to pamper different parts of your body.

HANDS

The skin on our hands needs the most care, with all the washing, working and exposure to external elements it tends to dry out the fastest and is the hardest to maintain. So start by using a peeling at least once a week to get rid of the old skin cells. In addition, make sure you have a quality hand cream by your side at all times since only regular application can provide the much needed protection. And as we get older it is advisable to include products that can correct the slight discolorations that are sure to start showing. Finally, pay special attention to nail care as your cuticles can harden and even become painful.

These are the most delicate areas when it comes to female physique as most of stretchmarks and cellulite tends to appear here. So it is imperative that you use the right kind of products and treatments. When it comes to effective hair removal, opting for laser hair removal is always better than constantly damaging your skin with a razor. Then, we should make sure that we start using the right anti-cellulite products that contain ingredients that can make an actual visible difference. For example, Caffeine is known to increase circulation and promote lipolysis of fat cells, or L-Carnitine that helps with fat burning and strengthening of skin cells.

Much like our hand, the skin on our face suffers the most exposure to damaging sun rays and weather elements. So this is why it needs special protection. During the winter months regular exfoliating and heavy moisturizing and over the summer months creams with high SPF and ceramides. Also, make sure you opt for some essential skin care treatments that will help you maintain that youthful glow. For example, a chemical peel is great for getting rid of dead skin layers and reducing visible sun damage effects, on the other hand, procedures like laser skin resurfacing promote collagen production and also help reduce wrinkles and fine lines on the face and neck.

REAR END

Oh yes, we are going there, the dreaded rear end, the one part of body most women would like to hide. Much like upper thighs, our rear end tends to be the place where most of the cellulite accumulates. This is mostly due to our lifestyle that includes sitting at the workplace and at home, of course, some of it can be attributed to genetics and nutrition. Considering that the layer of skin is a bit thicker on our rear end we can use stronger anti-cellulite products and opt for some more effective beauty procedures. For example, you can opt for an endermology treatment or if your doctor thinks you need something more invasive than a cellulaze is a good option. It usually takes 60-90 minutes per leg and includes two small incisions which are made per side to get access to the affected areas.

FEET

The sink on our feet definitely requires some additional pampering especially the bottom layers. The most important thing to include is regular peelings and moisturizer so that we avoid cracked heels and thick layers of skin. Of course, a regular visit to the pedicure can solve most of the issue, but in case you don’t have the time there are some things we can do in the comfort of our own home. Start by soaking your feet in warm water with a bit of lavender oil and freshly squeezed lemon, after that scrub the dead skin off your soles and apply a thick layer of moisturizing foot cream. Finally, put on a pair of socks that improve the effects of the cream. In a few hours, you will have perfect, smooth feet that are ready for a whole night of dancing.

If you take care of your skin properly it will reward you with great elasticity, smoothness, and a healthy glow.
