Nothing more fun than playing with your make-up for special occasions. I promise, this is the last Paris Fashion Week post for now, but we couldn’t help sharing my beauty routine as well. All the products from this post are also in my daily routine, I only added a little more. So besides that this post is only our PFW make-up, it’s also a little bit about my daily routine. See the products I use step by step below!
For years now I am using the Chanel compact foundation, which really is my holy grail. When it comes to my teint, I really like to mix high end with more affordable brands. I think this L’Oreal Foundation is the best example. I begin my make-up routine with this and apply it with just my fingers. Than the Boing Concealer by Benefit for underneath my eyes, which I apply with my beauty blender. On top my Chanel for some rednesses that you still see and at last I powder it off with my Dior Nude.
To shape and highlight my face, I use the following products; For Contouring I just really need a very dark bronzer which I apply with a small brush for more pigment. On top the M.A.C. powder which I told you everything about in this post. I apply this over almost my whole face cause I adore it. For a little bit of shine I apply some highlighter on my cheeks, cupid bow and on the top of my nose. If you would ask me, Douglas really has the best and most affordable one!
Eyebrows, the most important part of your make-up. I had years were I didn’t did them at all and I had years were I overdid them.. Now I think I finally found my best routine, which is with the well known Anastasia palette. I use the lightest color as I just learned it is better to use light over dark. On top some eyebrow gel and I am ready to go!
Besides mascara, I liked to play with a little eyeshadow for the shows. Somehow it always looks better on photos, even when you wear just a tiny bit. This palette from Jane Iredale just has the perfect shades for me. I use the lightest one all over my eyelid and the second two in my crease for an intense effect. Not too dark, just natural. And for my lashes; I have tried a 100 mascaras but I have to say that this Maybelline Lash Sensational has to be my favorite lately. It makes your lashes so so long!
I like to wear my lipstick in natural colors, but since I had many outfits during fashion week that could handle some color, this orange Tom Ford lipstick was also in my favorites list. Have to say, still can’t go without this Estée Lauder one!
