Bonjour de Paris! This Thursday we arrived in one of my favorite cities; the city of love and fashion called Paris. I am so excited to be back here and that for 5 days! It’s my first time that I stay for so long in Paris – as normally it would be around 3-4 days – so we have finally more time to wonder around and explore the city. We are staying in Saint Germain, which is an area we still have to discover (compared to Rue de Saint Honoré for example). So if you have any tips for good breakfast and dinner, feel free to share them!
But back to fashion week, because that’s the reason why we are here. It is our fourth season and I can’t describe the excitement I feel to attend the shows of the designers I have seen before, but also of some new ones. Yesterday we kicked off fashion week with one of my favorite French designers: Andrew GN. Andrew totally understands the power of detailed fashion and how a woman should dress: chic and feminine. He always knows how to surprise me in the best way he can, because after every show I say that it was his best collection so far. And this season, I am saying it again.
Discover his beautiful SS17 collection in the photos I shot below, together with the look I wore to the show. I was inspired by his last collection, which was with a lot of folklore. That’s why I wore this big printed skirt, who my grandma made when she was my age, to the show. I combined it with a Burberry shirt who I wore backwards and – with the eye-catcher of the day – this ah-ma-zing red lobster coat from NotJet, who really caught the eyes of the streetstyle photographers. Hope you like this first PFW look and the photos of the show!
