Happy Monday loves! Guess who is ready to go for an awesome trip tomorrow morning? When I even think about it I already start dancing, literally. When you planned something such a long time ago and the time is finally there to go, it’s just the best feeling in the world. You guys have been great too, as always. So many of you gave me some tips and email addresses for hot spots in the USA, in case I needed any advices. I haven’t go the time yet to send some emails, but I hope I will have when I am there!
About today’s post. During spring my clothes are not the only thing that I upgrade with more colors. My make-up is definitely a thing as well. Wearing coral lipsticks, blue eyeliners and colorful nails are definitely a must for me. Lately I discovered a great way of making nail art in a classic, not a fancy, way. And you don’t even need special tools to create it! Just a bowl of water, three colors (or more if you like) of nail polish, tape, lip balm and a little wooden stick. Remember the ombre nail polish I did a little while back, and where I told you about what a mess it was to make it? Well, I found out that lip balm is the solution! Thank god for this, cause now it is more fun to make.
I have to be honest, I tried is serval times before it succeeded. Yet still they weren’t perfect. I also decided to change the colors at the end, so that’s why you see a grey and green one. At the end I thought it was nice as inspiration for you guys so I think it’s fine this way. In each photo I show you step by step how to create this art and I hope you like it. At last, don’t forget about my Marc Jacobs and Douglas Give-Away. It’s easy to participate and you can win some great products which I am sure you’ll love! Sending you all my hugs and kisses for now and talk to ya when I am in the USA! 🙂
Gaaf dat je naar the USA gaat! Enjoy!
De ombre look op je nagels is erg mooi.
Love it! Looks really pretty and so easy to make!
What a cool idea! It’s something I wouldn’t do (I’m very classic with nails), but it’s definitely funny 😉

This is so cool! I am obsessed with marble nails this season and I love the green, not a colour I would have reached for before but seeing it done it’s really nice and fresh for right now – love it! I’ve been doing more nail art so I’m really excited to try this. Thank you for the step by step and I adore your photography among the flowers and with the gold rings, it’s darling. So glad I follow you! 🙂
Such awesome technique, dear! Love those colours! Do let me know if you’re following me in the social media sites, & I’ll follow you back right away. xoxo

Love those! I always like to spice things up with my nails either with a cool color or some nail art.
Very unusual…I am into this nude and white nail look now but this is great for accessorizing and adding pizazz to a minimalistic look!
