It’s weekend so time for a new sweet Sunday post! This time I take you with me to the short staycation we had at Citizen M Amsterdam Centre. It felt like a little vacation in our own city I have to admit. The hotel is located in the South of Amsterdam, an area I am not quite known yet. So during this one night stay, we had an evening and morning to explore more of this part of Amsterdam. Dining and having drinks in this area was like a whole new experience for us. Meeting new, interesting people and having good food is just the perfect way to start your weekend with, right?
So even though it was hard to leave the kingsize bed the next morning, we couldn’t wait to get our breakfast. What I like so much about the Citizen M hotels is that they all have the same artistic design. It’s very different from any other hotel you will see around. With a digital check-in and different rooms to ‘chill’ and get a coffee, there are new corners to explore in this hotel every time you visit it. You may remember my stay in Rotterdam from earlier this year (check out the post here). In this post you can see the similarities of both hotels, which might be nice for you to see what I am talking about.
Since I often get questions about where to stay in Amsterdam for a city trip, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to share a little bit of the experience I’ve got here and highly recommend taking a visit to this cool hotel. Especially if you want to stay in the in Amsterdam but don’t want the chaos of the centre, this is the perfect place to go to. Now that I have been to two of their hotels, the international ones are on my bucket list as well. Definitely let me know if you have stayed here before and share me your experience. Wish you all a great Sunday! Xo
