You probably all know my love for silk printed scarfs right now, so let’s talk about it a full blogpost long. A silk scarf can upgrade and transform any simple or casual outfit into something interesting. Think about adding a bright scarf to a plain white shirt and hello Parisian lady! We all know the ways of wearing a scarf around our neck and depending on the size and shape we decide what to do with it. But in this post I wanted to share some other options with you. Options I haven’t shared yet but love so much, especially for the spring/summer season. In case you are interested, you can watch two of my ‘How to wear a scarf’ tutorials on my Youtube here and here (and don’t forget to subscribe!).
All the scarves I am wearing in this post are from Arttique London. A few weeks ago I met the designer Jenny in Amsterdam to chat about branding, fashion, life and shoot these amazing photos in the sunny city. She brought a suitcase full of silk beauties so we had enough to play with. For the first look, I decided to do something with this turquoise scarf, so I created a turban and wrapped it around my hair. Something that was totally the opposite of how you would combine a silver pleated dress like this one from & Other Stories at first sight, but totally worked in the end.
The last two looks are more casual while wearing the scarfs as a belt and wrapped around my neck. My favourite is probably the purple with orange scarf through this super cool denim trenchcoat. Making items totally your own in this way! Out of these three looks, what is your favourite and how would you wear printed scarfs? Or even a better question, do you already have one in your wardrobe? Since it belongs to my top 5 wardrobe essentials I think everybody should have an outstanding design that fits their style and personality. Make sure to check out Arttique London to get inspired by the absolutely beautiful designs Jenny makes. I totally support her because I love her brand and she really is one of the sweetest persons I’ve ever met. For now, wish you all a great weekend! XO
It looks like the brand has such beautiful scarves! I love the different ways you’ve styled them, especially the first, it looks so cute worn on your head! Thanks for sharing and have a great week ahead!
You are so beautiful girl!!! I love this post, in fact I am preparing a similar post to this one since i have too many which I don’t use and I find many ways to wear them. In summer I mostly wear on my hair, as a bracelet on my hand and another great way is to tie a lovely scarf on your handbag 🙂
