Finding your passion in life might be difficult. I see it a lot at my friends and family, who are struggling with finding something that they really like or what they’re really good at. That’s why I call myself more than lucky that I already know my passions and the things I love most in life. Because when you know your passions it’s easier to grow as a personality and to develop yourself. In some way I can say that I was born with a passion, while there are other passions I discovered along the way.
As you all know, one of my biggest passions in life is fashion. Besides the love of my friends and family, I live for fashion. It makes me want to get up in the morning, work and make something out of the day. Thanks to blogging I was able to develop this passion, go to fashion shows and visit showrooms, create my own personal style and help others. But blogging is not only about fashion for me, it’s about telling a story. Because of blogging I discovered this new, quite unknown, side of me that actually wants to write stories and share them with the world. As a kid, I was always writing in my little pink diary or creating my own stories, but because of my dyslexia I kept them for myself. Blogging made me realise that writing is not just a passion I had to hide for others, but share it with anybody who’s interested in it.
So now we have fashion and writing, which basically is my job and life. Around that, I am still searching for things that I like and that I am apparently quite good at. Kickboxing for example, which I discovered recently but can’t stop doing ever since I started. I am even changing my whole schedule for it. While I was first out with friends every night, or had dates with my couch and Netflix, I like to go to the gym for a 1,5 hour kickbox session now. Something I wouldn’t see myself doing a year ago cause I actually hate going to the gym.
What I basically try to say, is how important it is to find something to life for. Something that makes you feel good and gives you energy. Don’t feel ashamed about any passion you have. Try new things, do it for a while and see if it’s something you feel good about. See if it helps you to be a better version of yourself and maybe even help others with it. Make a plan for yourself, because really, it’s never too late to start with your new year resolutions. Finding your passion is the same as creating your own personal style, it takes a while but once you are there, you never let it go. With this being said I want to say that this is my entry to the Zalando Style Icons // Creative Content Icon awards. Hope you enjoyed my article and that it helps you to your own journey to find your biggest passions in life. Love xx,

I always say have some level of passion for what you do with your career since you basically the amount of time you put into working will far exceed any other activity you do in in your adult life. Thanks for this inspirational read. I need it as I’m trying to transition into becoming a full time blogger the following next few months.
