Happy Monday loves! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I definitely had. Last Saturday I worked all day at an outdoor event and as the weather was beautiful that day we enjoyed it at the fullest. Best thing was, it wasn’t really hard working. We made some fun and I’ve finally got to know some of my colleagues better, which was so nice. So yes, more girl talk than work haha! Sunday was absolutely about relaxing and doing some things I wanted to do for a long time now, like finishing cleaning my room. We actually planned to do some shoots, but as it literally rained all day we were locked inside. So no excuses now, I just had to clean the last bit. Glad I did cause my room looks like new again. Besides the fact that we couldn’t do the things we actually planned, it ended up as a productive day anyway. A rainy day like yesterday can be good once in a while. Just because you’ll do all the things you normally don’t have the time for.
That is exactly what I want to talk about with you in today’s Make-Up Monday. As I have been working non-stop, I can barely find time to do my nails lately. I used to have healthy nails every day and most of the time with a nice color on them. Nowadays I don’t even have the time to use hand cream, oops. Have to say, I was really ignoring myself about my nails. My cuticles even hurt once in a while. That was a little alarm bell. What it did ring harder, was my little talk with the Trind lady at the Douglas opening a few weeks back. She even said they looked terrible (uhm thanks) and really advised me to try out their nail repair line. Well, she got me. As I really hate to see scraggly nails on someone else, I needed to make time to let mine not look like that.
A few weeks later, after trying out their line for a while, I am obsessed. My nails are finally looking healthy again. Healthier than they ever did before to be honest. The people around me are using it as well right now and even my mom is steeling my little bottles every day. I started using them on my toes as well cause these nails also needed some extra care. I love the glow they all have right now. It even looks like a natural French Manicure. What I basically did was polishing my nails with their three steps file. As you can see on the photos below, my nails produced a lot of white dust which really needed to be removed. Afterwards I took their Cuticle – and Nail Balsam which both had to dry for 2 minutes. Afterwards I did a little nail massage for the last bits until it was all gone. I try to use these products two times a day, in the morning and at night. That is also what they advice to do. I have to be honest, the mornings are quite hard as I am, most of the time, running out of time. But at night I use it anyway.
After I did these steps, I used their Nail Repair Natural to give my nails the last bit of nutrition they need. Hand cream to finish and your hands are looking healthy again! I know it all sounds like a lot of work, but it really just takes just 10 minutes for the whole routine and 3 minutes at night/morning. For me this really was the solution to make my nails look good again, but I am also very curious to hear yours! Do you have any special treatments to make your nails look healthy? Hope you liked this post and looking forward to read your tips and tricks! XX

great manicure set, made a good job, my dear
I absolutely love pampering my nails and hands to a great massage and mani. And I love products that allow me to do it at home. So I am definitely interested in checking out this kit. Thanks for posting this.
