Last Thursday it was that time of the year again: Vogue Fashion Night Out. Since four years now I always try to have a little peek into this event, except for last year when we were in New York for Fashion Week. Anyway, VFNO is the perfect occasion to go for glitters – which is by far my favorite thing to wear. It’s not an event that I look forward to all year (like fashion week), but it’s nice to see the Dutch famous walk around in fancy clothes, while sipping from a glass champagne. And besides that, I like fancy clothes and champagne as well.
For the night I wanted to wear this ah-ma-zing sequin skirt from Mango, which I got in Sale a few months ago. I’m just obsessed with this gem – which I seriously got for just €19..! – and I think that you can style it in so many different ways. It’s easy to go for a chic party look with a skirt like this, but I liked it even more to style it in a cool way. Wearing it with some chunky boots and a guns ‘n roses rocker tee was the way to go for me. What do you think about this look? Is it something you would wear to such an event as well?
