Hi guys, I am back! Not fully alive I would say, but I’m getting there. For the ones who follow me on social media – and especially Snapchat – may know why I have been absent these last few days. It wasn’t because of a good reason; last Sunday night I ended up at the intensive care, with a way too high body temperature and so much pain in my body I could barely move. I didn’t trusted it at all and so they did at the hospital, where I stayed for three days. After many tests the results were a little shocking; I’ve got a sepsis (blood poisoning) because of an ignored urinary infection. Not that the result shocked me the most, since I will be better with a two weeks antibiotic, but more the fact that if I didn’t went to see a doctor, I might not have written this article. But thank god, I am still here, ready to catch up a lot of fashion and more with you!
I am glad I still have so much on my computer to share, since I honestly look like someone from Penny Dreadful at this moment (seriously watched all the seasons while I was in the hospital, loveeeed it!). One of my favorite looks that I couldn’t wait to share is this sweater-dress combination. Since the Dutch weather is changing all the time it’s hard to not take a risk while going for something with bare legs. So I thought, while wearing this dress I will pull over this fantastic new sweater from The White Label Project, to keep at least my body warm. A successful combo you can say so as besides the fact that it was perfect for a sunny yet windy day, I also got so many compliments about my look – and especially my sweater.
Let me tell you something about this brand, which I recently discovered and totally fell in love with. As you know, I am a big sucker for anything cashmere. If I just could have anything made out of pure cashmere in my closet, I would have my dream wardrobe for sure. We know cashmere as something very valuable, so I am always looking for brands that have the perfect balance between high quality cashmere and a good pricing. The White Label Project not only has the perfect balance, they have sweaters that should last over 10 years and become softer and softer the times you wear them, which I found out is more than true.
Also, a classic turtleneck sweater like I am wearing today – a little oversized to have this ultimate comfortable feeling – is for me a piece that everybody should have. You can wear it in endless ways, from a casual summer outfit like this one, to a classic business look with a pencil skirt or tailored trousers. Not to forget that they will look absolutely amazing with a pair of skinny jeans. Make sure to have a peak into their website and find out the models they have and the colors they come with. I am sure you’ll fall as madly in love as I did. And don’t forget to tell me your favorite way of wearing your cashmere sweater! Looking forward to hear from you again since I missed writing to you so much! Xo
Oh no I wish you all the best, I hope you’ll get well very soon!
