The month January is full of New Year’s Resolutions. ‘I want to do this – I want to change that – I want to quit these’ and so on. All fine to have these resolutions, I have them myself too, but more important is to set goals to achieve them. Something that motivates you to keep on track with your resolutions and to be proud on yourself by the end of 2017. Because if there is no time limit or nothing on the other side, why should you continue changing your lifestyle dramatically?
Humans are made to be challenged all the time. It’s in our nature to look for excitement, things that thrill us to move forward. Looking for that gold beneath the rainbow. That’s why it is so important to set goals, to be thrilled at all time. Quit smoking? Make yourself a goal. Save the money you’ll normally spend on cigarets and buy something nice of it each month. Want to make a better business? Ask yourself why and in what time you want to do this. Be realistic. You can change your income within three months if you want, so set a goal like this and do something you’ve always wanted from the extra money, like going on that specific holiday or buying your first house.
As 90% of the people I know, I made some New Year’s Resolutions as well (as you may have been in my video), but on all these resolutions are goals made to achieve them sooner then in December this year – or start over again in January 2018. Like I said in one of my recent posts; Get up, Dress up and Never give up. So dress up is what I did, in this all black look by Comma and my warm teddy coat, ready to fight for my goals and make this year better than the year before.
I was wearing:
Off-Shoulder Top: Comma
Shoes: Hopman, similar
Amazing look. Love the coat and hat!
Wow!!! Super cute and very impressive outfit! I’m loving the way you’ve styled everything together! Also, I do agree with your text and I wrote a similar one on this same subject too. Setting realistic goals and ones that serve US and not what media thinks should serve us are the goals to “stick” to and make them happen. 🙂

I completely agree that it’s important to set yourself attainable goals otherwise you can easily become disheartened and give up. Good luck with all the things that you would like to achieve in 2017 🙂 x
I couldn’t agree more – it’s SO important to set goals for ourselves so we have a way of measuring them!
I am just so so so in love with your jacket!!! And your bag of course (who wouldn’t)! I totally agree on the fact that you should set goals! Not per se for new year, but goals will make you more ambitious! Big Xx Susanne – http://bagatyou.com
I love your cute hat and your coat! 🙂 enjoy your weekend 🙂 greetings from Germany
Oh that’s amazing!
It looks so cold! I agree with the New Year’s resolutions and goals. They help people find their balance in life.
Here my latest shooting about how to dress to go from the office directly to the afterwork
Have a lovely day! MG
Loved this post! So inspiring <3
I love your style! That patched coat is perfection and I’m loving the pom ballcap!
I agree with you 100%. It’s important to set goals to we can continue to grow personally or professionally.
Goal setting has helped me so much because it gives you something tangible to work towards!
Lovely photos! The hat is too cute! I agree with you on setting goals. It’s always nice to have a plan set up so that you can hold yourself accountable.
This hat is so cute with the little pom pom!!
You look so beautiful! I loved the hat, the coat, the socks and shoes! Yes, I used to have new year’s resolutions, but then by the end of the 3rd month I lost motivation and so, I don’t have resolutions now 🙂 But I agree, humans need or are constantly challenged! And I need some as well! Hope you have a very nice weekend!
it’s very important to have a goal in mind to guide you and remind you of the things you need to acheive. Love your outfit and that lippie!
thanks for sharing!
